Just wondering if any of you guys have put on Platinum metallic tint on your Navi TL's. Any degradation with the navi at all?

 

someone did they reported some bad side effects with the navi as well as am reception. don't get metallic tint if you have the navi it will screw with the gps reception.

 

Yea, I got llumar and I went from great signal to like weak... The metallic is the good tint as it stops the fade and all, but like the above, it gets your signal... I was thinking of one of them little antennas and moving it outside, or even to front window..

 

I have Platinum metallic 35% and i haven't noticed ant problems EXCEPT in downtown areas with tall bldgs. I dont get a signal until I'm away from the tall buildings. I dont know if this is due to the tint becuase I didn't pay until after I got the tint.
