Anybody else get "phantom calls" with their bluetooth??

I have a Samsung A900 from Sprint, and the phone seemed to pair ok.

No battery or signal strength indicators, but sending and recieving calls works good.

The only problem is, the car will start ringing sometimes, and there is actually NO incoming call. I'm sure it's my stupid phone, but it's driving me crazy. Sometimes it does it OVER and OVER, and I have to eventually turn the phone off, or disconnect it from the HFL device.

Anybody else experienced this??

yes it's the phone. Sprint/Samsung came out witht the A900M which fixes this problem and a couple other issues with bluetooth(not being able to hang up, dropping call waiting calls) as well as added GPS navigation and themes.

I read a thread on sprintusers forum about how to trigger the phantom ringing and it seems to happen when the phone goes into roaming then goes back to Sprint service.

I'm thinking of maybe email Sprint and seeing if I can switch for the A900M but I'm also looking at the new M610 from Samsung.

If someone left me a voicemail, I will get a phantom ring when the phone picks it up and plays the voicemail sound. Perhaps that sort of thing could be part of it too?
