Any way to stop the audio setup screens from timing out?
Any way to stop the audio setup screens from timing out?
Having just gotten my new '07 TL, I'm all excited playing around with the audio settings. One of the settings that makes a huge difference is the Dolby setting. I'm trying to compare various pieces of music, and various sources, with it on and off.
What is driving me nuts is this. First, while on the 'audio' screen, I press 'sound'. I then scroll down till I can see the dolby entry. I turn it on or off to test. If I don't touch anything for a few seconds, the setup screen times out and returns to the main audio screen. What I want to have happen is that the setup screen remains until I dismiss it; I want to sit there, listen to the music with dolby 'on' for 30 seconds, then simply turn it off, and listen for another 30 seconds, etc. Having to re-navigate each time kinda interrupts the 'comparison' process in the brain!
No biggie if it can't be done.

Pisses me off to no end. Of all the things, this one "dumb" thing is a real PIA.
It stays on just long enough, that when you are ready to hit another button, it changes. Half the time, it changes just in time for me to hit some button on the Main Audio screen.
ARRGGHHH!

Acura, I swear, if you "fix" this, I won't complain about Rattles.
