for the guys that have their amp(s) under the seats how much room do you have to play with under there? and which one offers the most room(passenger or driver)?
I would like to put my sub amp under either.

 

What amp are you using? I haven't looked under the drivers seat but I would guess that it would have less room since it goes up and down. I've seen an MS8 mounted under the passenger seat so you can take the measurements off of that.

 

Enough room to fit JL's HD900/5 and 600/4 under each one. It's definitely possible. The JL setup I just stated is "I Hate Cars" setup that's on here...I'm sure he'll see this an help ya out

thanks for the input. I am currently looking at this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-T500-1bd.html, i looked at the dimensions for the MS8 and the RF is a bit smaller so should not be a problem

Ive done alot of upgrades to the GN, 62mm turbo, roller cam, methanol kit, front mount intercooler, ported heads and matched intake, stage 2 tranny...alot.

 

Driver's seat has the most clearance. Passenger seat has a shield and airbag module that will have to be relocated. It only takes a few minutes to do though.

The JL XD and HD amps will fit. HD barely fits under the passenger seat but it fits.

At 3" tall, I can't imagine the amount of modification it would take to fit the MS8. The only chance I would see is if the seat is kept stationary there might be enough clearance in one spot. The RF amp should fit under the driver's seat but I wouldn't try it under the passenger seat. My HD is a little shorter and it was close.

FWIW, I'm running a 900/5 and 600/4 and they power my entire system (active 3-way+center+subs) with power to spare. Great little amps with a ton of power and very, very low noise floor.
