Amplifier connection

Amplifier connection

I want to change my front and rear speakers with a 4 channel amplifier, Do the Acura TL have rca plug left and right behind the stock radio to connect an amplifier??????? if not how do I connect an amplifier????

nope, just 40 pin wire harnneses. What you will need to do is tap after the stock amplifier since the signal is to weak after the head unit. The stock amplifer is lockated under the glovebox in the panel where your right foot would hit. You will need to connect the wires to some patch RCA cable.

i want to repalce my four speakers (2 front and 2 rear) with an amplifier for them.

You need a LOC - line output converter. All the speaker wires go into the LOC and it has RCA outputs. The LOC must go after the stock AMP.

has anybody checked out the pac hon20? I am in the process of swapping speakers in my 08 tsx (no navi) and this seems to be the easiest way to go to add an amp to the rear deck and the front doors. will leave stock amp to the rear doors and keep all controls working as they do now. the harness is plug and play which is a blessing after seeing how tight the wiring is to the factory amp.

am considering purchasing this harness adapter. will let yall know the outcome
