Amplifer Wiring question

Quick question to do with wiring an amplifer with an LOC.

What do I wire the remote wire to? normally on an aftermarket HU I would know what to wire it to. But what about on this car?

When I installed an amp in my CL, I just stole power from the factory amplifier power circuit. Whenever the head unit was powered on, the factory amp powered on, so I located that wire, put a splice onto it, and connected it to the aftermarket remote lead input.

Worked like a charm....

No no - I still had to run the main power cable from the battery. I'm just saying I tapped into a remote-turn-on wire in the factory harness with which to power on/off my aftermarket amplifier.

I went with the "add a circuit" route and just plugged it into an open spot on the interior fuse box under the driver side. Ran that to my amplifier as my remote.

Easiest way is to splice into the two rear speakers' wires and connect your LOC to them. Then run a pair of interconnects from the LOC to your amplifier inputs, adjust your gains, and you're good to go.
