I can't decide between kicker's 08zx700.5 and BA's GT-5750. They both push about the same power. The BA is $90 more. Has anyone had any experiences - good or bad - with any amps of these manufacturers? I'm going to use boston acoustic speakers - but also having trouble deciding between the pro60se and sr60. Price difference $80. The amps both push 70w per channel at 4 ohms and at these levels my installer/BA dealer says you can't hear any difference. Any thoughts?

 

I love boston speakers and their subs but never had experience with their amps, but im sure they are of great quality.

I had sx amps from kicker which are discontinued now but they were above the ZX line and they were amazing. I switched them for alpine pdx amps because i wanted to cut down on space and weight.

the kicker amps pushed my subs harder and with better control i think and they were a little punchier on the midbass. But then again there isnt much difference really , might be just in my head. Either way i was happy with the old setup and im happy with the new one.

I would go kicker but wouldnt mind boston either.
