if i do a 4-channel amp with the loc and leave the center as is as i only need it for the regular stuff like the wireless phone and alike... but not for music since im not listening to any dvd audio music..... - will that work i mean will the center speaker be as it was before ... i assume yes but just wanted to make sure ...

Yes it will be the same as long as you keep the stock amp plugged in. That is what i did.
