An alternative to AV Electronics (Save $$)

I stumbled across this link and found it pretty interesting. Check it out if you are a Do-it-yourselfer who wants your Navi to play DVD's.

Just ran into a problem pioneer AVC-RGB1 is no longer being produced. Thus making the MOD not possible

Checked a couple of sites so far no alternative. No replacement has been released by pioneer either.

Another alternative is to use the VCI-X. We also have free wiring diagram on the 2004 TL.
PAC nav converter

We only promote it for video back-up camera interface, but everbody knows what else it can be used for.

Yeah the product is 300.00 compared to 100.00-150.00 for the pioneer.
