Alpine Type R subs, 4 ohms or 2 ohms? Using Alpine MRP-M500

I noticed there are 2 different types of Alpine Type R 12 inch subwoofers, 4 ohms and 2 ohms. I was told it depends on what amp you are using; being that I will be using a Alpine MRP-M500, which one should I order?

I was planning on sealed but was told I would lose a lot of bass and the type r's perform much better in a ported box.

I personally recommend an MTX bass slammer which is slot ported.... Or an audio enhancers box... both under 100 bills
