I had an aftermarket alarm installed on my 04 TL. Once in a while my factory alarm will go off when I dissarm my car. I'd say 1/50 it will go off. Its almost like my aftermarket alarm isn't dissarming my factory alarm all the time. Its getting kind of irritating because the horn is pretty loud late at night. Anyone else run into this problem?

Is there any way to completely disarm the factory alarm?

 

Dang, never heard of that problem before. I'm looking into getting an aftermarket alarm or at least a remote starter. What kind of alarm do you have, does it have these features, and other than your problem above, do you like it? I'm looking into a Compustar system.
