Quality sound processor connected to your factory deck. RF 3sixty, bitone, JL cleansweep, JBL MS8, Alpine PXE imprint.
Or do what this guy did. http://caraudiomag.com/articles/acura-factory-radio-mod

I'd go with the first option. Many people have and are very happy.

thanks jp - i called crutchfield, they suggested sound processor also and also recommended the kenwood kos - a300 as an adapter to play ipod through the factory deck. anybody have any experience with this? it looks like there's no room to put the little control knob in the TL...

The factory HU puts out an excellent signal already so swapping out an HU isn't necessary.

Just take the output from the factory amplifier, connect it to your sound processor, then to your new amps and speakers.

Some good processors include the new Alpine one, Audio Control, 3.sixty and the JL cleansweep.

As far as ipod integration, there are a few units such as Isimple, dice, PXAMG, etc that offer a variety of features such as radio text, etc.

For mine when I got my TL I took the output signals from the factory amp and hooked it to my 3sixty.2. Since the 3sixty.2 comes with and aux input i just got a long enough rca-3.5mm cable and I can use that for pretty much anything from my cell phone to my pmp device including friends that have iphone who wants their music played on my system. Real simple to do.
