I have a pair of 3 way JL speakers. I had em in my mazda, but i sold it when i got the TL.

now i want to put those speakers in the TL but i dont know if they fit or not.

I have researched and it seems the rear speakers on the TL are 6.5....the JL speakers i have is 6x9...

does anyone know if the sub fits in? i know that i would need to drill new holes. and i dont have a problem with that..but will it fit if i drop it in? I havnt take the back panel apart to check yet, was gonna see if i can get my answer before i go through that amount of work.

any help will be appreciate it.

Not sure that I follow. Are you asking if your 6x9s will fit in the factory sub location?

There are three round holes for the speakers; two 6.25" and one 8". I don't see how 6x9s would fit without cutting metal.

I would lose the rears all together and just set up a nice front stage.
