Aftermarket Headunit!

well i've looked around for an hour or so and cant seem to find a way to properly install an aftermarket headunit. Yes, i know it is difficult esp with navi. however i know it is possible. Has anyone been able to do it with navi? if so how and is there a diy post for it?

heres my proof i know it exists:

the way he talks annoy me....sorry hes talking too fast for the information he is trying to tell.

anything is possible with the right amount of money. it seems like he put a good amount of money into his audio setup.

question is what are you trying to achieve with the aftermarket headunit? there is modules the can make it sound as good if not better then a aftermarket headunit.

It is possible, but one of the main problems that you will run into is how to integrate the 5.1 audio system into the new headunit, seeing as how a majority of them are 4-channel systems.

Just get a 3Sixty.2, Cleansweep, BitOne, PXE-H650 etc... and call it a day. It's a cheaper route and will yield excellent results!

Well i figured if the headunit it would be easier to wire the subwoofer/amplifier as I'm much more familiar with it. But if the ways on this forum are just as good i suppose it wouldn't hurt to do it that way, while maintaining the look of the car. Thanks!

looks very out of place, the oem headunit works fine, i would take the extra time to learn how to install your system and save the looks of your car
