Searching through the forums it looks like my cd player burnt out (having the same issues as this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-problems-fixes-114/cd-player-not-working-776276/). The CD player occasionally works but I am assuming it will eventually burn out.

Looks like it's an easy repair to do on my own (anyone disagree?). Looking for recommendations on an aftermarket CD player as I am utterly lost. I have an 04 nav-less MT TL. Is it worth putting in a nav unit - how much extra work/cost will this be?

Any help would be much appreciated!!

 

Putting a factory navi unit in your non navi is gonna cost over 6 or 700 and its a lot of work. An aftermarket would be better although the price would be similar also. It all really comes down to the amount of money you want to spend.
