after few months i bought it...

After i few months, i finally Purchased a Valentine V1 for my 06 acura TL. i am very exicted on getting it!!! i had one quick question, i plan on hard wiring it to my car, and was wondering what else i needed to buy from their site. so far.. i bought:

1. radar
2. consealed case
3. 8ft straight power cord.

What else do i need? do i need to buy a certain type of kit? or do i jsut need to spend that $1 on the Wiring Harness Connector?

everything that comes w/ the radar is all you raelly neeed. Unless you want a concealed display, you can buy that, but everything should come w/ the radar.

There should be a few threads on hardwiring the V1. Have you tried a search with keyword valentine or radar detector yet?

yeah i have mine hard wired. It looks so much cleaner that way.
Here's where i put mine:

it's actually a little behind the rear view mirror, that way the part that senses the rear would point directly through the middle of the back window. I also have the concealed display, which i mounted right behind the steering wheel.

Did my Escort the same way as well as the remote. It works out well and the installation looks very clean.
