Adding Nav to a car

Hi. I am new here and this is my first post. I have a 2005 Acura TL w/o nav. If I wanted to add nav, is this something I can take to my local Acura dealer and have them do. If so, when completed, would it look and function like the ones that come with nav pre-installed? What would be the cost?

Thank you.

Joe

navi

I am in the process of adding factory navi to my o4 TL. My parts are on the way from savedparts.com I spent $2000 for my parts and am currently looking for someone to install the system. A friend that is studying at Wyo Tech has sent me all the wiring diagrams for the install so if you need them pm me. I do not know if the Acura dealer will even touch the install but if they did im sure its really expensive. Check out Dan...k posting, it is has good information with part numbers you will need. He had an installer do his car for $500.00 and he posted the phone number for the shop but dont waste the call for they will not give you any info on the install. If installed correctly, all factory functions should work. I will keep everone posted on my factory install.
