Adding fog light switch

Adding a foglight switch to an '06... I cant find the thread that I saw it in before, but can I use a foglight switch from an 07-08 or was there an Accord switch that will work in the factory cut out in my car? And is the factory 07-08 TL one an actual "switch" or is it just a "momentary switch" that activates the fogs?

Actually just looked up the factory fog light switch for the 07-08. I didnt realize it was still on the steering column. I guess it was the Accord one that someone was using in the blank spot on the lower dash to turn them off and on?

Correct. 07-08 foglight switch is on the stalk. You're thinking about the Accord fog light switch that people use

Also this thread was on the front page: https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...e-fogs-882899/

The OEM accord fog switch is what you're looking for.

Part number:
08v31-sda-1m035

With your transmission slipping, are you still able to drive your car "normally"?
Or does it just slip occassionally but you're able to still make it to where you need to go?

If you buy the accord switch could you use that as a free standing switch independent of the one of the stalk.

I have completely destroyed my hardness and either need to replace the harness or go around the harness all together. Personally I would like an independent switch i can run hids off of ( already have the kit) getting a working switch to it is the problem.

Anything is possible with some ingenuity.

I'm going to assume that you have a Type S. You'll have to bypass the existing fog light wiring, buy a harness, and run a wire from the accord switch to the relay input.
