Can I get some suggestions for 7 channel amps available.

Anyone else?

Phoenix Gold has been around forever. They were doing high-end car audio before anyone else. Excellent amps, although other manufacturers have caught up to them.

I think I am going to cancel my order for the Diamond Audio amp and get this Phoenix Gold Amp.

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=13020

The company I am trying to get the diamond audio amp from is jerking me around.
Shows the order shipped on Aug 4th with UPS yet tracking number shows nothing.

Anyway...opinions?

Thanks

Does the Phonenix work with the stock head unit? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I don't know anything about amps or car audio for that matter.

Since it seems that you have a 99' TL I would go to that forum and ask those quesitons. I don't know about the 99'
With the '05 there is some modifications that need to be done.

the best for this setup is going to be a macintosh amp, go to macintoshlabs.com and check them out. all you should need to use the stock deck is a converter. jl audio makes something called the cleansweep that will be perfect. both these things are kinda pricey, but don't cheap out on the tl!!

are you plannin to rewire your whole stereo? That amp has a lot of chanels on it, u don't need it unless your replacing all the factory speakers and wiring them to the amp. Get a nice and powerful mono if you are planning to hookup just a set of dual voicecoil subs.

Our bose headunit does not have a preamp output for a signal out to the amp.. We need what they call a pac converter or a line output converter which cuts into the factory speaker wires and yields an output for audio output wires(look like audio video cables) which connect to the amp.
