I just signed for XM Everything for $29.94 at $4.99 a month. I did not need a code just asked for the deal. Other's are saying they had to use "6MONTHSOFXM" promo code to get the deal.

I told the rep form XM that I would just cancel it in 6 months if the deals are not there. She said that other are doing that and they will then give you the same deal for another 6 months.

This is a better price then the $77 for a year deal others are getting.

Thanks for the post. XM is up for renewal in May for both my TL and my wife's Ody. Hope I can get the deal for both of them.

i just did it too. just say you got a letter if they ask, and give them the promo code mentioned above. these companies are hurting.

I had the $4.99/m deal (6 months for $29.94), however after 3 months the rate went up to full price. I called in to have it fixed and and they gave me an additional 1 month free service for the inconvenience!

Sorry to dredge up an old post but my XM needs to be renewed (old owner pre-paid account finally ended) and I don't want to start from scratch and have to pay full pop when I know they offer promotions to keep current listeners... any good promotions out there? This same 6 month deal still available?

the 6 month deal is a deal they do for new users / people who buy there cars used and have the xm button and want to try it out, after the 6 months is up its back to normal prices , now 77 $ a year i need to look into that asap.

Ended up getting a good deal... but only for 5 months not 6. Not sure why only 5, but for $20 I wasn't going to complain. After the 5 month period I guess it goes back up to regular fees but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
