I'm having the idea of trying to place 2 JL 6w3's in the factory 6.5" locations on the rear deck. I haven't been able to tear the deck lid apart yet, but I'm wondering if this can be done with relative ease. JL calls for a 4.2 liter, or .15 cubic feet of space for the enclosure, and I'm not sure how to get that much room for each speaker.

Anyone ever done it? I would run these little subs as midbass to help out with the door components.
