3sixty, before and after experience?

i like the sound of my system, is not really that loud (deaf loud) but it sound good.

question for anyone with a 3sixty. Did it made a different in clarity, highs, etc. when it was installed. Were you really happy about the improvement or more like mehhhhh. i'm doing my installation on wednesday for the 3sixty.1 (i know it only have 5 band equalizer for each speakers and 2 band for the sub but got it for a good price $125 new but $400 for the .2 it was to much at the moment).

i have search the forum and is more of the same. People asking for help installation or hiss noise from the system, but not really a before and after experience. If it actually improved all around or just a small benefits. The sub sounded cleaner, components came to live. Please let us know.

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/system-isnt-system-without-rockford-fosgate-360-2-a-780488/ Here's a before and after....

I have been using a 3Sixty.2 for about 2 years now and overall I like it. I am no good with tuning so that's part of my problem. I have a slight hiss at low levels but that may be my amps causing that. I'm considering selling my 3Sixty.2 and picking up the JBL MS8 with auto tuning. Amazon has a coupon floating around for something like 40% off.

thanx even with the coupon it still to high (for me atleast) amazon has it for $599.99 willl the coupon end up been around $360 and since i live in NYC they charge taxes making the total price $398. i cannot justify paying from $125 to $398 for the xtra equalization, crossover function and time delay My amp can do most of the crossover. Both are identical in processing a flat signal and can be adjust with bluetooth plus both have AUX output.

thanx for the link

Does anyone have more information on the Amazon coupon? I have been thinking about picking up a 3Sixty.2 for a while, but the MS-8 would probably be better for me since it will help me with the tuning.

the 360 is also a summing device. So, it's my understanding that it add all channels to get a full range. If you want to keep front and rear and left and right separate, you dont want to do that. I think the reason they do that, is because some systems may not have full range outputs due to attenuation and imaging. I think the TL probably doesnt have a problem with low range outputs or even so low that its impossible to retune the signal to flat. Like JL does. But the 360 has a built in EQ where as the JL device does not. So, you can actually change the frequency response volumes on the fly. Its all complicated and lots of variables and not sure if I am describing it well.. But to make a long story short, I am not going to buy a 3sixty because it destroys my 4 channels and makes them all the same because it's a summing device. JL has 2 separate devices. A summer and also a device that makes the output flat. but we dont listen to flat music, so, I do like the built in EQ of the 3sixty, so you can essentially adjust the output to any curvature. At least with the JL, you can still use the bass and treble adjustment to change the output curve. clear as mud?

I did the 3sixty.1 and during the set up it does ask you if u want to go full range or keep the stereo left and right channel. Full range was only if i had connected the front middle speakers but still gave u the choice to try it in a 4 speaker setup. I dont have the middle soeaker connected to the 3sixty, is running from the oem amp. But even if i had it connected tge setup device ask you which way would you want it to be.
