Hello im new to the forums. I have a 2004 tl with navi. And I hate the stock navigation I was wondering if its possible to replace the actual navigation with a 2din aftermarket. Im not a fan of the two screen. So I rather try to replace the actual screen and not the radio. Please let me know of anything and thanks in advance

 

I'm sure it's possible, you just need to find the right person to do it or gather the right information to tackle it yourself. It would probably require quite a bit more work than just adding a double din aftermarket unit below it.

 

Alpine used to make an integrator that connects an external unit with the built-in screen. Pretty involved installlation, though, if i remember right, cutting and tapping into wires. I think it's called PXA something.
