Hey Acurazine I been looking for a way to connect my android device to my 04 TL. I've seen a lot of products out there but they are only IPhone compatible which sucks for Android users .. If anyone found a way let me know, I have a Samsung Galaxy S3. Thinking bout going back to IOS because of this. Also, bought a Garmin radio transmitter. In my opinion, I rather listen to AM radio stations SUCKS! So dont buy radio transmitters if you want the same thing. If anyone knows of anything or has anything for Androids, I would love to hear what you got. Thanks!

 

There are many modules by various makers that will just add a regular aux input that lets you plug in a standard 3.5mm stereo plug so why not just get one of those installed? If not, then go to another since they don't know what they are doing. If you are a DIY like me then just contact BlitzSafe directly or go through someplace like www.logjamelectronics.com or

Screw transmitters of any kind (FM/BT) and cassette adapters. Wired is the way to go and there is NO reason to ditch to iOS over this.

I originally had an iPod before my Android phones so I had previously installed a BlitzSafe iPod aux in. To adapt to the regular 3.5mm plug I got one of these iPod Female End to 3.5 mm Male Aux Extension Cables . It's goofy but it does the trick. So as a LAST RESORT you could add something like this to an iPod aux in unit.

 

Thanks for the info. I love my Galaxy S3 and would hate to have to switch. What I really want is to view video, text, radio controls etc. All these products are only "Ipod Friendly" except if your using AUX. Thinking about maybe getting a Ipod Touch just for my car.
