Question 3G TL Navi Conversion Experiences

Hey guys, new to forum, but have read it for a looooong time. I have a 05 TL w/navi and I want to get the Av Electronic Navi Conversion Kit, (http://www.avelectronic.com/products.htm) Just curious what you have all experienced with the Kit or have heard of any experiences. Is there any option besides the Av Electronic Kit, if so where and how much? Also did anyone get the additional options available on the Av Electronics site (ie. rearview camera, tv tuner) and are they worth it? Thanks guys!

I will say that you probably WON'T get much of a response to this thread as there are about 1000 threads pertaining to this. I don't have links Sorry.. but if you search Navi conversion all your answers will be there.

I personally have Volosokovs unit.. ( Ican't ever spell it right) and i love it.. I did have some issues with it but he is sending a new one..

Yes there is my unit which is 100% plug and play that means factory plugs not inserts like Av Electronics and the price is 150 dollars cheaper. If you read the posts on this topic many comparisons and people always say my unit is better quality plus when you buy your next car all you will need is a new hanress not a new unit. My unit uses no relays all solid state AV stuff is relay switching that means moving parts that fail with time. Go to my website www.naviplus.tv

Thanks for the response fellas, I looked at the Ave site today and they said they have plug and play devices as well, but I have seen more people happier with your product vsokolov looking around on the different threads similar to this. If I were to purchase your product what exactly do I need on top of the plug and play to play a dvd? Prices? Thanks for your help!!!

You would still need a dvd player plus something for sound like an fm modulator or aux inputs.
