I know about the search button. With that said....im NEW to this site and im looking to install a double din alpine radio. Can anyone who installed a double din radio, show me how they did it? I don't wanna pay for a custom install I can do myself.

There is no "kit" its a completely custom fabrication that is needed to incorporate the multiple compound curves of the OEM HU. Not to mention the semi circular infills needed on the metal trim.

definitely need a lot of either skill or money to pull it off.
real question is why would you want to replace the OEM HU? navi or non navi?

 

I don't like that it can't play mp3's. & iI hate having to MAX out my radio to get loud. I wanna add all I components and an l7.

 

add an Isimple and some amplification. HU is perfectly good
