Hey guys,

I know I've seen a lot of threads for navi I'm just finding things difficulty still. Also i see a lot of people splicing wires since they don't have all the wires etc.. I have a 08 car for a donor so I can pull all parts needed. Will this just plug and play into my 06 TL? Or am I still needing to do some wire changes? I can't find the ETM so if anyone has pictures of what wires i have to switch or anything it would help!

If anyone is in Texas I would love some hired help.

Parts I'm pulling:
Navigation screen and radio
Trunk DVD rom box and xm
antenna from the rear
Harness from rear to radio
trunk rear camera and wires
anything else?

I read to pull the HFL from the light do I need to do that too?

Also I'm going to pull try to pull all other harness/wires that the navi has in back.

Oh also once this is done would i be able to swap steering wheel to the 08 and will it all work?

 

it's not an easy task at all. It's so far from plug and play.

Anyway, be ready to shell out a good amount of money if you need to pay for the parts.

1. I have all the part, as mentioned I have a complete type s to pull parts from.

2. I have read all the forums on install. Most of them made their own harness. I was asking for help from the original harnesses. And if anyone knew what pins to switch.
