I picked up this version cd and when I put it in my DVD player the navigation downloads the software but then gives me a disc reading error( incorrect DVD disc) is there anyway to get it to work for my car? Or if someone in phx az has a orange disc for sale?

Two possibilities come to mind.
1) Do you have a 2007 or 2008 TL?
If so, they use the white version 4.XX disc, not the orange version 3.XX disc.
2) If you have a 2004-2006 TL, did the car come with a disc originally?
If not, the prior owner may have loaded a more recent DVD(3.B0), so an [earlier] version won't load.

If you haven't already gotten it to work, I just ended up putting my old disc back in (just got the new one and had the same issue as you), letting it reload, ejected it, inserted new disc and turned the car off. I then started the engine again and it loaded perfectly.
