2007 TL HFL allows Phone Book Import

I saw in the owner link that the new TL will allow Importing Phone book from Phone in 2007 TL Versions. It is available only for few models for now. But, hey it is a good start.

Several Other Models allows to move one name at a time which is a little pain but easier.

There are a lot of "rumors" flying around. We'll see whats true and whats not in the next few weeks when the '07 roll out. More specifically if they perform as well as you think they should (i.e. remember the MusicLink).

What will be the most intriguing is if all the new gadgets are backwards compatible.

I used my Sprint PPC-6700 with much success in a 2006 TL. I just picked up my 2007 TL last night and this morning I attempted the phonebook import. It did not work. The NAV recognized a phone was paired, but the functionality was not on my phone. I assumed this would happen. It seems that the only phones listed on the HFL site that support all features are the Sony/Ericson models.

I realize my phone is listed as 'not compatible', but it works great and shows the battery/signal too. I am looking for somebody to code the hooks for the Windows Mobile OS. I would assume most of us that own a TL have a Palm or Windows Mobile device.

I am pretty confident somebody will develop the missing link to add this functionality to our devices.

Hey, boom -

Did you need to make any modifications to your PPC-6700 in order to get the signal strength / battery, or did it work fine "out of the box"?

Also, have you had problems with your TL not recognizing the phone occasionally?

Most of the time, the Bluetooth connection is cr@p between my Verizon XV6700 and my 2004 TL, if it even gets recognized at all.

Yes. Go here: http://www.jetwaremobile.com/index.htm

Also, make sure you have the latest ROM update for your device.

HFL Phonebook Import

Can anybody confirm phonebook transfer on a Sony/Ericson model phone.
The Acura compatibility guide indicates the W600i, z525a, & z520A have full feature capability.
