2007 Handsfree link sound problems

Anybody who owns a 2007 TL or TL-S experiencing what sounds like engine noise interference through the speakers while HFL is in use?

Also, how about the quality of the HFL sound in general?

I took my 2007 back to the dealership for the first issue and they have had it for almost a week and cannot fix it yet!!

I am currently driving a 2006 TL loaner and the HFL sounds so much better.

And you live in the same town that brought us RUSH!!

Well, today my dealership informed me that Acura has admitted there is a problem as they are able to recreate it in other cars. There is, however, no fix as of yet.

No, but it appears to an issue with the 2007 model and has been recreated in a couple of cars on the lot of my dealership and a couple at Acura HQ.

Will follow up with the outcome.

I tested a Blackberry 7100 and it also worked perfectly; I haven't been able to transfer my phonebook yet as the profile (PBAP) only exists on 2 or 3 Sony phones at this time and my provider doesn't use Sony products. I would love to get a phone just to transfer all of my contacts then give it back

It's amazing nobody else is experiencing this problem! I went back to my dealership and the service manager and I tested another dozen 2007 TL's and they ALL had the same problem.

No, it is not an issue with a specific phone.

This will definitely be a TSB as soon as they figure out how to fix it.

I'm using the T-Mobile MDA and it sounds great in my 07. Just wish it supported Phonebook import.

I cant import either so i think its very limited amount of phones that can. Nice too know that a Camrey can import it. I was in a friends. Acura is still much nicer.

I can't believe nobody else has reported this issue?

I hear a high pitched sound that is in sync with the motor's RPMs while using HFL on my 2007 TL. I have since paired it with 3 different devices and also had the service manager try several vehicles on the lot. The results were the same. Acura engineering recreated the problem at their facility too.

Anyone with an 2007 TL have this problem?

Try putting the phone in the armrest compartment or back seat to see if phone's proximity to the HFL is the problem. My Motorola generates minor but constant annoying feedback with the HFL if I put the phone in the console bins under the radio, but not when the phone is in the armrest compartment or outside the radius of the cupholders.
