i'm picking up my car this afternoon and been doing some reading here and there. does anyone know what ver of Navigation 2006 TL use as i plan to get rid of the OK Nag Buttom and customize the welcome screen. any information for a newbie would be greatly appreciated.

I know for the '07 & '08 ver 4.x, there is not a Hack for the OK button, but those discs don't work in the '06 anyhow.

 

I think most '06 TLs come with the 3.5 disk, which works fine with all of the known hacks above.

 

ok this may sound stupid man i love the TL its so nice to drive but where the heck do i find the navigation cd..

 

ok i found it, time to read and hack.. btw is there risk of hacking and screw up the entire system with just removing the nag, and add trip computer plus welcome screen.? i have 06 TL Navi using 3.5

With any modification, there is a risk.

The navi mods are relatively safe and at worst, unplugging the battery resets the system. Read the sticky for details.
