2005 TL base model NO NAV

hello everyone , I’m really new to this. a couple months back i got blessed with the opportunity to buy an 3rd acura tl , i love the car but no bluetooth capacity is really a bummer. i have been thinking about installing a apple car play receiver/display
does anyone have any experience or knowledge that could be helpful? having a hard time finding one that fits in the vehicle

Buy a Bluetooth receiver and plug it in the aux port.

I'd recommend the EarStudio ES100 if you care about sound quality. It can use the best codec LDAC if you have an LDAC capable phone. A lot of other good reasons to spring for the ES100 too, just research it.

2005...there is no AUX input.

For the most part, you have the following options:
- replace with entirely new head unit
- use FM transmitter
- use cassette adapter
- use add-on module that plugs into the radio replacing the XM

All of the options have been discussed over the years fairly well. There has been a couple of active threads in the past 6 months.

I used the iSimple Connect plug in on my TSX. Worked well.
