2004 TL Ipod Integration Kits?

2004 TL Ipod Integration Kits?

I know the kits are available for 2005+, anyone know where to find or install one on a 2004? I want full integration.

I see that you are a new member/ have few posts, but you really should search, there are a ton of threads out there on this topic.
To answer your question yes there are quite a few people on here who have the USASpec adaptor. I do for one and it is great. That is my recommendation.

what's the difference between i-Honda-R3 and i-Honda-R4 ( with Y adapter) , in both case with need to disable ( unplug) the factory XM/Sirius radio module (satellite radio) ???????????????

The R4 kit comes with the "pass-thru" harness for XM and NAVI. If you choose to have TEXT you do need to unplug your XM module in the trunk while using the R4 kit. If you use the R3 kit there won't be any "pass-thru". this means that you can leave your XM module plugged in.

With the R3 kit , can I leave XM radio plug and I have the text display??

I have a tl 2004 with xm radio, I want to keep the XM and use this unit and also have the text dispaly.

Not possible. If you want text, you have to lose XM.

so why is the function of y adapter ???????????
I have a 2004 tl without navi whats the best kit for me r3 or r4

The Y-Cable retains the navi or XM if you have either.

If you don't have XM get the R3

If you do have XM get the R4

ok now i understand , if I want xm without text i can use y adapter. but if I want text with the xm, I dont need the use of the y adapter but need to unplug the xm antenna
