15 inch subwoofers

hey i was wondering if two 15 inch subwoofers would fit in the trunk of our car? i'm interested in putting two 15 inch kicker L7's but not sure about the clearance of the box due to how the trunk narrows in a bit and has different angles.. anyone with experience or comments/suggestions please respond. THANKS!

I put 2 12" and its really tight so im not sure but probbably not . And one other thing is that i wouldnt even recommend it, you would have to much pressure in that trunk and it would be hard to stop rattels

As long as you have a professional do it, you could fit them in there, i dont know about a regular box.

I agree with BukvaMan in that the trunk would rattle way too much. I only have one Rockford Fosgate Punch HE2 15 and it shakes the $hit out of it.

do you have the 15 inch facing the rear of the trunk or did you have to fire the sub upwards towards the top of the trunk lid due to limited space?

I have it facing up towards the stock subwoofer. I can post some pictures later, if you like. Box is nothing special. Just MDF with two ports, not even covered.

I used some program where you type in what kind of sub you have, what kind of power you are putting to it, and the size you have to work with and it tells you how big to make the box and how big to make the ports to get the best sound. I have it tuned to 36 hz.

2 15's huh....................

you better put layers of dynamat in there also, or your going to rattle the hell out of your car. Also if you have navi I've seen where it makes the screens image look like its bouncing around slightly
