12w7 or 10w7???????

Hello guys, I'm an owner of a '04 tl. I'm currently in the process of building a sound system for my vehicle. I'm going to purchase a jl audio sub for my bass. Now I know the 12w7 packs more of a punch than the 10w7, but my fear is that 750 RMS/ 2000 peak might be a too much for the small ass trunk. The last thing I want is it to sounf like a rattling piece of junk or an overbearing bass where you can't hear the mids and highs from the inside speakers. My doors speakers are 150 RMS/ 600 peak. I'm not sure there will be enough dynamat to get the sound I'm looking for w/ the 12w7. Anyone have any solutions or advice?

To answer I would go with the 10", I had one, and it hit pretty damn hard for one speaker.. But everyone has there own opinion so its up to you..
