I swear I read something awhile back that someone made a custom fiberglass enclosure for the TL and can't remember for the life of me if its true or not? Can you guys help me out? I'm thinking either a JL or Diamond sub...

i can vouch for uncald4's custom tl enclosures. I have one installed on my 2000 tl. fits like a glove, matching carpet. I have 95% of my trunk space available to me and the only reason it's 95% and not 100 % is cause my amp sits on the floor next to the eclosure. Get one from a guy who has owned the tl and knows the car in and out, i'll send you pics if you want.


forgot to add, i'm not sure if he makes a 12 inch enclosure though, mine is a 10.

Wow, that thing is nice! I like it more than the Wicked because its wrapped in vinyl and not standard sub-box carpeting. What is the airspace of it?

I don't mass produce these like the other folks. I make them specifically for your subwoofer, power and listening preferences. I can finish any enclosure in whatever material you choose including trunk matched carpet, vinyl, carbon fiber and kevlar. I never wrap my enclosures in generic sub box carpeting. AND.... my enclosures never directly face the opposite side of the trunk like other folk's enclosures. Facing the woofer straight across the trunk creates a "noise canceling" effect because the sound pressure bounces right back into the woofer.

The "TYPE-S" enclosure seen in the pic is .625 cu/ft and was made for a 10W6V2 which is also the same airspace as a 10W3V2 and V3.
