'08 TL & IPOD question

I'm thinking of getting an 08 TL non-navi. My question is how to hook up the ipod so that I can control it from the radio / steering wheel. Ipod lock out is not an issue to me as my ipod is usually in the dash cubby of my 350z. Also, I'm using an Alpine in my Z, they have a great interface.

Thanks

Try looking in the audio forum, there are about 5 threads about this. If you cant find them, search for Dice, or USASpec

Total BS. Non nav 08 TL and I love it.

Anywho, Peripheral Electronics is the only choice for total iPod control and keep your XM radio if you so desire. Have it, love it.

Good choice on navi.

The PIE unit mentioned currently has issues with cars that have navtraffic so keep that in mind.

Isn't there an Aux port in the lower compartment of the center arm rest? Not sure if it will give your the functionality your looking for but you can play your IPOD from it.

I may use that for a while. I was lookin for a more "fullfeatured" solution (digital output, control ipod from radio, charge ipod, auto on/off, etc.)

Thanks,

There is but it isn't a great solution. Having the features cmt1 mentioned are worth the price.

Yes I've got the nav traffic, but I might be willing to give up XM
