I thought it was simple burn and play, but I'm having troubles getting audio going through my stock CD player unit and need some guidance. I'm still getting used to the system as I just bought this car used about a month ago.

Problem 1 - MP3s playback, 50 songs per disc) 2 Burned mp3 CD-Rs using iTunes (MP3 playlist) gave me a "reading" message on the dash and was still reading after 5 minutes. I thought it was just iTunes problem, so tried it again with a CD-RW disk, simply copy and drag the mp3 files onto the disk. Still gave the long "reading" time. Still, no audio.

Problem 2 - Actual burn CD audio, 16 songs) Using the same CD-RW disk, I erased it and tried a different regular CD burning approach. Again, through iTunes, it was able to read this time, but nothing would play, all songs threw a 1 second "stactic" sound clip, and some would play for several seconds then stop. Song titles did show up.

Seems like I might just have a defective CD changer?
