Ok. This may have been ask before.

So here's the situation:

I inserted the 08 NAV (new version) , into my DVD system, and it did the firmware updates, so I gave the disc back (because it isn't my).

Now, i have the message " you inserted older version naviagation disc ,etc etc "

So..... does this means I need to just buy a new disc?

I did not realized how hard it is to obtain the new disc and I don't even know what version of the disc (4.62 or 4.63) I put it in.

Damn.. I just got PAWND by trial & error.

Any other suggestions from NAV Gurus ?

 

If you are going to purchase the navi DVD, then just get the newest one. You should be fine with it.

 

DON"T waste money on a new one. You can copy the navi dvd 4.xx versions, it's legal as long as you don't sell it and it is used for personal use only. If you don't want to copy it, press the MAP MENU and CANCEL button for 5 seconds, then press the menu button and then click download and it will revert to the old version.

 

Hold [Map] , [Menu] , [Cancel] for 5 seconds , then [Version] , [Download]
