08 Acura TL Hands Free Link

I am a newbie here and to Acura. I read on the forums that if your hands free link continues to display "Booting Up" there may be a problem with the module. I replaced the module with one I purchased on eBay and the seller assured me it was tested and functional. I received it today and installed it and I am still showing "Booting Up". Is there anything else I can do to narrow down the issue to determine if I received a bad module? I am also saw on YouTube that when it is in the booting up mode it drains the battery even when the vehicle is off.

Welcome to the forums.

Since this is a technical issue and not a "New Member Introduction" I moved this thread to the appropriate subsection so you can hopefully get more help.

It's All Good

I reinstalled the original module, don't know why but it is working and then I installed the replacement I bought off of eBay and that one works.

Welcome to AZ, glad the HFL is working for you now. There is a known issue with them. Bad solder joint. Had to replace my son's HFL in his 07 TL-S. That one has also gone out.
