This picture is very big so I just uploaded it to image shack. I wish I would have known you chose to do the center console also. Below is an old pic during my install. Hope this helps. Click on the picture to zoom in to read the comments.

Nice Donnie, way to go, looks great. Thanks for the props. Are you gonna try to tackle the custom switch or just leave it the way it is?

Thanks Mike!~ I actually really like my switch and have gotten several comments on it. I may use this switch later when I plan on putting HIDs in the reverse lights. Then I would like try to tackle the custom dvd switch.

Unfortunately our OEM decks have the ability to play DVD-A (only dvd audio files). This is why we purchase a navtool or dom's unit to add a "video input source." Members have dvd players, ipods/iphones, playstations, external hard drives an additional video source. Hope this helps!~

I can't answer all your questions, but what I did was a quick search for "iphone install" and found this thread by "Elegant Type S." Check out his thread below and if you need any more help feel free to ask...

I've had a few members pm/email me since I posted this thread on how I wired the lighted switch. Hopefully the picture below will help better explain my description in Post #2. Please note that I used Video 2 on my Navtool. When the car is in reverse the video will continue to play and will NOT be interrupted by our factory backup cameras.

Below is a pic of similar switch I found on google images. The prongs on mine are not labeled 1,2, and 3. Mine are 1b(prong is copper in color), 1 (middle prong) and 1a. Thank you all in advance for your help!~

Im looking to do this to my 07 tls too. How did you get the audio? Did you just wire the dvd/cd player seperate and a amp to the interior speakers and sub for sound and just use the nav tool to get the video through the nav. Get back to me thanks..
