Navigation popped up with a "disc read error" today. I had read some earlier threads that said often times the trunk navigation will scratch the dvd making it unreadable. So i went and checked the dvd and of course it had a perfect deep scratch around the outer rim of the disc. I have an appointment with the rallye acura out in ny on thursday to have them look at the problem. My car is still under the factory warranty, so what can i expect from them. Should i ask to have the whole system replaced? i assume it would just do the same to a new disc if not replaced. Also can i expect that since it destroyed my old cd that they would provide me with a copy of the newest nav dvd at their cost or am i thinking crazy thoughts? Any one else have this problem? Any advice is appreciated
