07 tl-s Ipod in Aux connection?
Is it possible to connect an iPod to the Aux socket in the center console? If so what kind of connector do I need? Thanx in advance for any help.

You can do it... you just need a regular 3.5 mini to mini cable.
Something like this... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1168043635969
The only downside is it won't charge the iPod for you... only play music.

Hi -
Belkin makes an car charger *with* 1/8" (3.5mm) ear phone adapter. You will still need a male-male stereo cable to go between the Belkin device and the AUX input in the center console. I am using this and it works quite well. The Beklin cable is several feet long, so if you purchase the stereo cable that is the same length you can tie-wrap or or better yet use spiral cable wrap (available at Radio Shack) to keep both cables together and tangle-free.

Congrats on the car - I just got my 07 "S" and I love it.

And, since the Belkin uses the docking connector the output volume is fixed. That means when you use the thumb wheel to do something you can't accidentally blast/overload the system by cranking up the volume. My friend uses the Belkin in his FIT and loves it.

Does anyone know if they make a mini-2-mini cable for the iPod/iPhone that has a device similar to the squeeze remote on the iPhone headphones? It would be great if I could just squeeze a bulb to stop/start playback and skip ahead instead of having to swipe the phone on and then look down to locate where the skip button is is on the screen.
If this doesn't exist yet, it should be rather simple/cheap to make.

Looking for new mods
For those who are audiphiler..you will notice the quality using the aux is not the best. Ontop of being a Acura lover I am into hometheaters, Aux(analog sound) vs digital output (ipod dock connector) is like comparing standar definition to HD. At home all audio is connecte via HDMI or Fiber optics. The sound is crisp and almost static noise free. The aux gives you poor bass and the quality is poor. Not to mention having to reach for the Ipod to change tracks......
I am still exploring my route with how I am going to do and Ipod integration to my TL. So far DVD-a create using adobemans GUI is by far the best qualty i have gotten..true digital crisp sound. Local sound shop uses Pac audio, anybody heard of this before

Does anyone have any slick ways to route the 1/8" 3.5mm mini cable out of the center console. Allow the iPod to sit on the cupholder slider drawer for easier access. (Just took delivery of 3G TL last week, still poking around a bit with all the electronics, XM, Navi etc)- thanks!
