Ok so yesterday im driving to go out to eat and i notice something about my navi that i hadnt seen before. my nav traffic is working! i dont pay for it and i dont pay for xm but that is working also. anyone else notice this? the traffic thing is really cool to me since i have an 06 that wasnt designed to have it! pretty cool, shows accidents and construction as well. i wish the traffic worked at closer views, i use 1/20 and the 2nd zoom and u have to be 1/4+ to see traffic

Im assuming acura or xm is running some sort of promotion and offering the service free for a limited time, wonder how long. so anyhow check it out if you havent already.

 

well, I got a email notice in my car's nav system saying that they're upgrading the Nav. Traffic system and doing a promotion. I paid for mine though.
So you have a 06 TL ? I thought 06- doesn't come with Nav traffic ? But hey, since you have it, enjoy it!
And yes, Nav. Traffic is really cool and accurate too!

 

Yes 06 that was non navi. I upgraded to the 07-08 navi system. Tho i didnt get an email notice?

 

Maybe the Nav. Traffic or XM is doing a special promotion to get you on the hook so you'll pay them when they decided to take away your Nav traffic. but now, since you have it, enjoy it! Its a very useful tool.

 

Just wish i could see it on the side roads that i use, when im zoomed in.
