Is it possible to use the cable from Ipod to connect to the unit? or do I have to buy the cable from hondaacuraworld.com?

Where should I connect this cable to?

Good luck even getting the Music Link - my dealer just called me today and said that "The Music Link program has been indefinitely suspended due to incompatibility problems with the new iTunes version" :-(

I have a month-old '06 TL, and had already paid the $400+ for the Music Link option. I've been waiting patiently for it, and now it looks like it won't even materialize before 2007. This just sucks!

At least the dealer referred me to a custom shop who could install an after-market iPod system (and they will pay for it and refund the difference if it's less than what I paid for the Music Link), but I haven't even begun to research the options available there. There's no way I'm going back to FM transmitters.

And I also found out today that the Treo 750 won't be out until mid-2007...there goes my wishes for a great Bluetooth phone...it's a sad day indeed.

brikelly, search for PA11-HON2y. A lot cheaper and better than the MusicLink.

Thanks datmrman! The custom shop guy recommended Blitzsafe, so I'm having a look at that and the PA11-HON2y now via your link.

Also, I just found out that the Treo 750 is due in FY Q3 07, which is much earlier than the calendar year Q3 07 - phew! Things are looking up! :-)

when i purchased my tl two weeks ago, the salesman told me NOT to get the ipod ink. he said it has a glitch due to the itunes updates. when i got my windows tinted over the weekend, the tech guy at the stereo place tried to sell me an aftermarket device that supposedly works great. he was charging me $250 installed.

I personally think the blitzsafe was a better unit for just ipod integration. But it doesn't have audio rcas like the USAspec, whick are needed for video applications. If you are never going to add video than get the Blitzsafe, but if you think that there is any possibility of video in your future get the USAspec

do you guys know if the pa11-hon2y is still causing problems in the 06 TL. i just installed my Dom unit and a mediagate but cannot decide what audio interface to go with. i read some threads that stated some issues with the latest USA spec and 06 TL.

I think you can still get the Music Link installed and just use an older version of iTunes. All music link does is it adds Voce tags so that you can use it with HFL. I haven't been able to oconfigure music link software since it doesn't work on my laptop for whatever reason.. i think the problem i have is cauz of the MS .Net version but.. for you you can get it installed and use older iTunes if there is a compatibility issue.. hope this helps
