Hey guys, I’m new to the forum. I’ve had my 06 TL for about a year now and I’ve loved every minute of it! I knew the original owner so it’s always been papmpered. Recently my Nav screen has been acting up.

It goes black or sometimes doesn’t start up. I want to replace it. I’ve seen a couple of people have successfully converted to the 07-08 screen which looks much nicer and has some added features I was hoping to go that route. I know I need the DVD drive and the 07-08 display. And I know about the whole HFL unit being different which I honestly don’t care about,I unplugged mine anyway (battery drain)

Everything seems to be plug and play until you look at the back of the 07-08 display screen. There is a blue 22 pin connector instead of the green 14 pin connector from the 04-06.

So so I guess my question is, how did people get around this? Was a new harness made? If so does anyone having the wiring diagram?

And I’m very sorry if this has been answered before, I swear I searched hi and low but many of the pictures or links are not working anymore and most of the posts are non Navi to Navi conversions
