04 TL Replaced battery. Radio asking for code

Had to replace the battery in my 04 TL (out of warranty). Replaced battery and now the radio is asking for CODE. I found a thread about finding the code but not how to enter it.....does the dealer have to do that ?

u enter the codes thru the preset radio buttons on the radio.....it should be a 5-digit code (1-6). Just call ur dealer, the rep should tell u what to press, and it will give u two sets of codes...u tell that to the rep and he should give u the radio code for ur radio (i had the same thing happen..10 sec fix)

Look in the owner book for a dealer biz card- often hand written there
some people write it on the side of the glovebox door- or under the fuse box covers- under the hood fuse covers, inside the center armrest etc
Have a look around
If you get lucky the selling dealer has it in a file- maybe
Otherwise its pull the radio to get serial number- take with car reg to dealer and they look up for free
Its a security device that protects us from radio theft

also, if you lost your card under the hood, where your fuse box is, look under the box most cars also have the codes there, acura dealership told me that
