'04 TL no handsfreelink

I just picked up an 04 TL and noticed that there is no handsfreelink for my cellphone. I thought this was on all TL's of this year and not an option package. Any ideas?

Welcome to AZ.

We Americans have been told that Canadian versions of the TL did not have the HFL/Bluetooth early on.
Are you in/near Canada?

Sorry to bump such an Old Thread (I found it using a search) - and I apologize if bumping one this old is against the rules - , has anyone successfully added HFL to a Canadian 04TL that did not come with it from factory, I know those that added the Navi Package or the 6MT Package received HFL in Canada.

I would guess it would be getting a firmware update on the vehicle to enable the HFL/Phone menu and I am guessing the wiring would all still be in place. Anyone try anything like this?

Yeah I guess you're right. They can be had pretty cheap. I just thought the way the Information Centre display all the phone and call information was pretty sweet. Thanks!
