Hey everyone, I am very new here. i know my name says tsx but that was when i wanted one and i just got a 04 used TL. I have done some research and cant find a way to hook up the ipod to the stereo. my TL has NAVI, is there a way to control the ipod through the radio buttons or steering wheel buttons? is there a way to see full text on the navi screen? any help would be appreciated. thanks in advanced....

 

You have a couple of options......

You can get a USASPEC HON2Y which will hook your ipod up to the factory NAVI and you can use all of you factory steering wheel controls.. But you have to use playlists and i don't think it shows on the navi.

You can get a JL clean sweep or Rockford Fosgate 3sixty which are much more, but if you plan on upgrading your stereo down the road this is the way to go..

There is one other direct hook up and it is called neo apadter or neo audio something like that, you can play single songs and you can have the text feature on your navi BUT this interferes with your XM (text feature on only)

I tried to get one for my 05 TL w/navi and Acura does not make a factory connection for the 04-05's.

 

hey thanks for the reply.... the thing is that in my ipod i have about 4200 songs... now lets say im listening to bonjovi which is in b in artist.... then i want to listen to some shakira lol which is s in artist.... does that mean i have to hit the button x amount of times depending how many artists i have between b and s? cus if thats the case then ill be hitting it like about 250 times which i dont want.... get me? thanks
