0 Gauge to the battery post?

How did you guys hookup 0 gauge to the battery post? The factory ring terminal is crimped with no play. The end that goes to the fuse box has a special L connector its crimped too so I really can't rerun it. I can't use a ring terminal with a 0 gauge and bolt it on the oem battery clamp because the ring terminal is too big.

What would you guys recommend?

I would get a battery with the top posts and the side posts...

They also sell longer screws for the battery. Consider paying an audio shop to get 0 guage ran to a fuse holder.

DON'T FORGET THE GROUND!! Thick ass (+) power line will not do anything without a equally large ground.

A battery with side and top posts is a great idea. I also looked into that before posting but optima doesn't make one for the TL. I tried putting my yellow top in and the terminals are towards the front of the battery. The OEM wire doesn't reach. I was so pissed lol. Do you recommend another battery?

I am grounding it at the amps in the trunk.

I had a brain fart... I had a saturn that used the side mounts... Optima makes a battery for the TL, but it doesnt have the side posts... You need a 34R for the TL - http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

But I dont think this will work for you. They sell really useful battery terminal connectors, check out crutchfield...

The ground... You need 0 guage from the battery to the car body.
